Stress Down Day is a day to think about what helps you relax and ‘fill your tank’, whilst also raising awareness for mental health.

There is no doubt that the majority of us feel stressed often. A little bit of stress is fine, and in the right context, it can even be helpful. However, chronic stress is not. It can make us feel irritable, tired, anxious, unable to cope and it can affect the brain causing ‘brain fog’.

On days like today when we are reminded to do things we find enjoyable to de-stress, it is a great opportunity to take stock of how we are going. In our busy lives we can feel like we don’t have much time to do things to relax, but incorporating something into our routine like mindfulness, allows us to quickly take a little ‘brain break’ more often.

We hope you have a great and safe rest of the week.
